There are a lot of reasons people want to stop the commute job, and want to start a work at home business. The websites that are essentially, lie to you about how much money they made in anywhere from 30 to 90 days, look nice with their flashy appeal, but are pretty much full of hype and BS. And the vast majority of them are about MLM businesses. Okay, it may be possible for a very select few super experienced networkers with a lot of contacts to make that much money, not the average person starting out. It takes time to build a network of contacts and people who would be interested in your work at home business.

The thing about most MLM companies is tha they don’t have the real training that you need. They have the business, and great products to go along with it, but the support that you really need is lacking. Their marketing strategy is to contact all of your friends and family. Then email everyone on your email list. Some may still even suggest to rent out a hotel or motel room to have a presentation for people.

But then comes the creme de la creme of marketing strategies - BUY LEADS! Buy leads and call them. If you have just started your work at home business you are in for a treat. Leads convert at about 3% average. That means if you call 100 people then 97 will say NO and 3 will say yes. But don’t believe those statistics. They are also not being truthful. They do not convert at anywhere near that rate. What actually happens is that 3% will show an interest. But chances are still that zero will join.

But let’s suppose that you got really lucky and 3 people out of 100 actually did join. Well, 95% of people who join MLM companies quit. So, you got 3 to join, and now 2.85 are going to quit. You have to buy more leads to get another 3, and 2.85 of them are going to quit. This is an ongoing process. Even though people want a work at home business, the ones who join MLM companies just do not stay in the companies.

Calling leada is the training that most of the companies out their promote (after you have bothered your family and friends, of course). Now I know that not everyone can call leads successfully. Some can and enjoy it but from the above statistics not everybody does. That is why they quit even if they like the product.
